Gee, Universal Basic Income recoups more than it costs AND the recipients are happier and healthier.

Hmmm. Where have I seen those results before? Oh yes, in every other goddam pilot study of UBI for more than a decade. Ireland joins Finland in at least making a start.
Ireland’s basic income for the arts scheme becomes permanent
When piloted, initiative that provided €325 a week to eligible artists recouped more than its net cost, study shows

Isn’t it time we changed the language of “sex trafficking”? Instead use “Rape trafficking”. Sex implies consent. There is none. This is rape, coercion and abuse of vulnerable people. Our language should reflect the harm inflicted. Words matter.

You can tell this is an authentic Trump post because it's not really for anyone
Trump, in the middle of his latest unhinged Truth Social screed, claims that if Canada makes a trade deal with China, "the first thing China will do is terminate ALL Ice Hockey being played in Canada, and permanently eliminate The Stanley Cup."

I was asked to check this, the journal uses a Rail Fence Cipher, so you read each line up and down, left to right. The deciphered text in the article below is accurate, and names names. The file itself can be found here:

Very impressive. Françoise Thom, who may be France's premier Russia analyst, writing before release of the Epstein files had a very firm grip on what they would show in terms of Epstein's relationship with the Russian intelligence services and what they were up to in the US, UK and EU.
The Cesspool and Chaos: the Russian Connection in the Epstein Affair • russian desk
In this explosive article, French historian Françoise Thom highlights the close relationship between the late financier Jeffrey Epstein and the father of his

so stupid to bin it
cia world factbook had been on the ropes for years but surprised to discover that the CIA has announced it is officially shutting down, with no stated explanation, with no warning.

PM Tusk on Epstein: it is very likely that this was a planned operation by the Russian KGB.

More and more leads are pointing to suspicions that this unprecedented pedophilia scandal was co-organized by Russian intelligence services.

one of my strongest beliefs is that we're in our situation right now bc some of the most prominent talking heads (e.g. joe rogan, andrew schulz) are learning about politics in their 40s and 50s, instead of their teens and early 20s, and we have to go along for the ride as they learn basic things

the best way to treat trump is to acknowledge that everyone around him is scheming for beyond his imminent death, to ignore trump and move on to the next phase

the deprivation of attention will be glorious to watch
Commentary: The U.S. president is animated less by the prospect of deal-making than by the need for domination, less by the spirit of exchange than by the perverse pleasure of exalting himself.
Appeasing Trump only invites betrayal — as Europe's far right just learned
The Europeans have misunderstood who they are dealing with. Trump does not want willing cooperation. He wants painfully extracted submission.

Peter Thiel has been open about this for a long time. Trump is a way to break the republic, which can then be replaced by “free economic zones” with oligarchs as dictators and tech as a taskmaster for helpless humans without any rights. (1/2)
Definitely seems like they destroyed the country on purpose.
