I've just used Good Law Project's tool to email MPs on the Council of Europe and let them know they don’t have to bend down to Sex Matter’s transphobic threats.
The more they hear from us, the harder it’ll be for them to ignore us. goodlaw.social/9f10d1
Stop Sex Matters infiltrating the Council of Europe
In just one week, the Council of Europe will be voting to ban conversion therapy. This would be an incredibly important step to stop the rollback in the rights of LGBTQ+ people. But Sex Matters is inf...

Rather proud of @villiershighschool.bsky.social's letter from Bridget Phillipson today congratulating us on excellent outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in 2024/25. She states that our "school’s performance places it among the very best nationally, and this is a significant achievement."

There will always be a lag in real time translation even if computers continue to get faster and faster. Sentence structure is to blame. Beautiful to look at though.

I've liked Seàmas O'Reilly since I read his fabulous, poignant and very funny memoir "Did Ye Hear Mammy Died?" Now here's evidence of his sound good sense.

The dogma of ‘Britain’s Strictest Headmistress’ is a con as old as time - gentle parenting produces happier kids
Disciplinarians claim a stern approach is best, but there’s a lot of evidence to dispute this, says the Observer parenting columnist

Take a deep breath, grab that coffee, and remember how incredible you are. Here’s to a great start to the term! 🌟

Took Chewie to meet his sister today. Lots of fun and ‘bitey face’ resulting in a tired pup 🐶😂

In support of #Antibullying week, we have worn our #oddsocks and anti-bullying alliance T-shirts @villiershighschool.bsky.social this week. It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique.

Good luck to teachers today. Remember that today's results do not define the work you have put in with your pupils over the past 2 years. Not all results can be measured so easily #edusky

Really liked this. Going into my second year of Headship, a little battered and bruised, I’ve taken my down-time seriously this Summer and I think it’s helped. In for results days and pre release days and some phone calls and emails (OOO on) but not a huge amount beyond this.

Enjoying the respectful, good-natured discussion and debate over here on #edusky. Who knows if it’ll last, but it’s refreshing for the moment!

Absolutely loved the Olympics. So many comments about number of golds, coverage by the BBC, the opening ceremony but overall, joyous, inspirational and life-affirming. Wish we were witness to this full range and variety of sports every week and not just football… maybe not breakdancing 😂😬

Please tag people to this thread as I know it’s tricky to get started when you first join.👇🏼
