Cognitive offloading (using scrap paper) doesn't just help students remember more, it helps them think more clearly, especially when tasks involve several steps.

Seeing it firsthand, it is so clear how wasteful students can be with their precious revision time. They *still* waste time and effort despite assumptions about knowing what to do.

My daughters homework required us to walk around town and take pictures of the rock. After reading @ensermark.bsky.social post on AI and homework. Got me thinking, does homework like this widen the PP gap. She really enjoyed today but I wonder how many others were able to complete the homework
