I’m gonna draw a controversial conclusion from this, but it’s one I don’t think is actually wrong.
The reason “cancellation” for sex pest reasons actually boosts careers is that a majority of men identify sympathetically with these men.

Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

When will hobby retailers get it? Crafters are going thrifting for their crafting supplies instead of buying your plastic crap you refuse to put price tags on so you can increase the price whenever you want to do a "promotion". I'd rather go to the bins and take apart a sweater for yarn.

I see humans hurling themselves into overconsumption as a coping mechanism for this fucked up world. Some people are financially being forced to stop, but it's so jarring to see people go from 0 to 100 when collecting something. Like you really need 6 Louis Carmen journals or 45 designer perfumes?
