David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

He should absolutely be fired by NYT for this. Major conflict of interest that he didn't disclose.

After the 2024 election, a lot of elected Dems talked about the need to build alternative independent media platforms. My response was that they already exist, but elected Dems don’t support them by going on as guests - only doing legacy media. 2025 has been significantly better.

Congratulations. I hope other judges do this.
One of the biggest moments of my career:
USCIS canceled my client’s naturalization oath ceremony. We filed a lawsuit, went to trial, and the judge swore him in right there in the courtroom!

Got the answer right here!
The idea machine never stopped. Uncreative capitalists just refused to pay people for their ideas and would rather destroy what’s left of our environment to steal those ideas.

BINGO
Did AI write this? Lol.

Here's a thought: what if you took all that cash going into the AI money pit, and funnelled it to creatives, instead...? I suspect that would lead to a huge "growth" in ideas (actually just make possible a greater number of ideas already there). Ideas are not the issue

There is no fucking shortage of ideas. There are people and corporations and massive grifters who say this is the only way forward. And they are fucking wrong.

Great ideas are happening all the time, and most of them don't involve the absolute drain on the world's resources that AI requires.

There is another possibility: what is AI is incapable of restarting the "idea machine" & is instead little more than a denial of service attack on the thinking process & the evaluation of new ideas. What if AI isn't capable of genuine creativity & kills the "idea machine?" Will we notice in time?

We are not running out of good ideas. Good ideas are being howr by billionAires and conglomerates when they used to be shared publicly for the advancement of mankind. Scientific societies all across the nation, public science initiatives and competitions that every community joined.

Well Bryan, AI is not the way to restart the world’s idea machine.

So I still hate AI and find it to be useless for anything that really matters.

Mifepristone has been widely used in France since 1987 and in the US since 2000. It is a safe drug with an excellent track record. Don't let any Republican or an irresponsible journalist tell you otherwise.

I’m thinking about the mess we are in, in our country.

When it comes to turning the ship around for material needs, safety, “general welfare” i’m firmly on board with showing, not telling, being the only effective strategy remaining.

Collectively, showing up for each other in deed, and word.

A new investigation revealed that school districts and local governments are reportedly overpaying for supplies because of Amazon contracts that bind them to dynamic pricing.

Rather than allow for competitive bidding, the deals “covertly raise prices and inflate costs for governments.”
