Decided I'm overdue for a rewatch of TWIN PEAKS. Every time I watch the pilot episode I remember how it felt to watch it for the first time and how different it was from anything we'd ever seen on TV. So weird and dark and mysterious and wonderful. 📺 #tvsky #NowWatching #twinpeaks

Fun fact: Our depth perception and ability to see in 3D come from having two eyes. That’s why artists are often shown closing one eye and holding out a thumb—they’re simplifying their vision to a single point and using their thumb to better judge angles and proportions for a flat surface.
Speaking as someone who is very much an amateur, I find it a lot easier to draw from a picture than from real life. A photo already flattened everything for me.
And when I don't, I'm like, "What's a frog look like again?"

Funny enough, I often grab those propaganda books for art materials... Free paper and I feel good transforming it into something more beautiful.
