I follow many people on here who aren't vegan, because they align with my other values & hopes for human society. I absolutely disagree with some of their lifestyle choices (for instance, I'd rather they didn't want to eat me) but that doesn't stop me from appreciating & learning from their wisdom❤️

So ironic, given that I've never met anyone whose favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is the turkey. It's just there because of tradition. The sides and desserts are always so much better. So why continue this stupid, harmful practice?
46 million turkeys, each a sentient being, killed every Thanksgiving.
Articles like this applauding the 'tradition', no thought for the suffering.

It takes amazing skill to take the perfect wildlife photo that's perfectly exposed, well composed, pin-sharp focus, and doesn't require a pixel of retouching - real men and women carry cameras, not guns.
