3,000 pigs per farm in Canada on average. That’s not animal welfare. They could care less about helping these poor animals or reduce their suffering.

What they do to these animals is animal abuse and without pain relief. It’s just horrifying.

They also fail to mention that on average, there are 3,000 pigs per farm or the fact that at 6 MONTHS OLD they’ll be put in gas chambers before having their necks slit.
What we saw today was misleading and deceptive.

There are no words. The guy actually said “we’re treating these pigs right.” If that were true he’d have nothing to hide. Clearly his definition of “right” is diametrically opposed to not only my definition, but the dictionary definition: “being in accordance with what is just, good, or proper.”

This kind of labeling should be required worldwide, and it should be big, graphic, and impossible to ignore. It should be a reminder to every consumer every time they pick up a package of animal body parts or secretions of exactly what their purchase supports.

I seem to remember in the early days of Beyond Meat and their first product, Chicken Strips (they were great!) that Ethan Brown offered tours to show how their product was made and invited those in the poultry industry to do the same. Fat chance.

Buying a 'spent' hen isn't a rescue; it's an even more messed up pet purchase. The farmer is thrilled you're paying over the odds for a 'useless' bird after they're done using them for all they're worth 🥚

We’ve pledged not to pay into an industry that exploits and murders animals.

If we give £1 per chicken to a farmer like this one, we’re enabling the purchase and exploitation of four more.

We’re funding the very industry we’re working to abolish.

Let’s meet BAILEY… the 2 WEEK OLD male VEAL CALF… in his calf hutch…separated from his mother. Instead of that milk going to him, the farmer has to keep “that milk flowing” so people can have their cheese and ice cream. All baby male calves like Bailey will be killed usually at 4 months old…

The natural background extinction rate is estimated to be less than 100 species per year, but thanks to humans the earth loses more than one species EACH HOUR! So much diverse life that our children and grandchildren will only be able to read about because of human carelessness and greed.
