I wish a journalist would quote this to Trump when he's whining on about wind turbines killing birds, and ask him how he's worked with architects designing his buildings to reduce bird collisions (we know the answer, he hasn't because he doesn't really care about birds, he just hates wind turbines).

Just don't buy the stuff - apart from harming wildlife if used outside, it's made of plastic so it sheds microplastics into the environment wherever it's sprayed ☣️

3,000 pigs per farm in Canada on average. That’s not animal welfare. They could care less about helping these poor animals or reduce their suffering.

What they do to these animals is animal abuse and without pain relief. It’s just horrifying.

Imagine this poster was made by an alien species who have invaded Earth, and proudly declare they use every part of the humans they farm, apart from the scream. Disgusting, isn't it.

You don't have to eat pigs, or use them in 180 products - there are cruelty-free alternatives for all of these ❤️🐷

Animals are sentient, they don't just act on instinct & stimulus-response.
This mum is cognitively aware of how safe her baby is throughout by adjusting their grip and balance, and they clearly showed an emotional attachment bond when the baby looks into her mum's face.

Please don't harm animals.

For the record, I died shortly after becoming vegan nearly 6 years ago, but I was already very sickly from being vegetarian for 37 years.

If you want sea mammals to be protected, the most effective things you can do are:
1) stop eating fish & other sea creatures.
2) oppose oil, gas & mineral exploration in the oceans.
3) don't do leisure activities that disturb or harm ocean mammals, inc cruises.

I guess I'll never understand farmer minds that think "If I destroy all nature I can make a few more $ profit" instead of appreciating the boost in wellbeing they'd experience - more than money could ever buy them - if they connected emotionally with the ecosystems on their land.

Well I'm tired of reading academic papers that simply lay out facts and just conclude that "more research is required", so I hope the science community is becoming more willing to lay out the potential consequences of their data in real-life narratives people can relate to.
