Loose ink linework of a Jack Kirby page. It features an angry woman, probably Frigga gesturing angrily over a cowering and sort of feral looking Loki. A man is in the background holding a little Galactus doll. I have no idea who he is because we have nearly reached the limits of my Scandinavian folklore knowledge. Incomplete but very precise linework of a Catwoman comic. The page is split artfully into six asymmetrical panels depicting Catwoman running from a supine Superman, entering the sewer, and then apparently being attacked by some kind of sound. The final two panels are blank, but take my word for it that I did a really good job on the ones I finished. Again: my ink, someone elses pencils. A very dramatic scene rendered in inked lines. A somewhat cartoonish girl cowers in the back of an old nineties or early two thousands SUV. The vehicle is surrounded by attacking zombies, some of which are reaching through the sun roof and the windows. In the back seat, a person is shooting a zombie through a broken window of the car using a shotgun. In the front seat, someone is shooting a zombie through the open sun roof using a revolver. Zombies are reaching for the girl and nearly have her in their grasp. Outside the window is chaos as zombies in various costumes stumble through the street. And on top of the car for some reason are two interested cats.

When my daughter was little, I used to read her a book about an elephant. He ordered birdseed from his favorite birdseed company. But then the quality went down. Over successive orders the book described it as,"Worse. Worse. Worse. Rocks." That's how I've been thinking about our government.

I've been strictly limiting my social media for my mental health. It only takes two minutes before my stomach is clenched and my ears are ringing. It's great to see so many people turn up for the rally tonight, but it's still hard to hold out hope that the bad times will turn around.

I did the cover of Westword for this week!
The cover of Westword, a weekly magazine in Colorado. This is the cover for Feb 13-19. The image is a cartoony illustration of a person seen from behind with many arms encircling it in a hug. The subhead is "Need a Hug?" and the description says, "Denver has professional cuddlers and they are here to help. By Jason Heller". There are a number of hearts included in the picture as decorations on clothes, to highlight the fact that it is Valentines this week. The background is shades of pink and red for the same reason.

I could not give two shits about Justin Timberlake, but everyone talking about his dick can fuck off. People don't choose their dicks. The size of a dick doesn't matter. The size of a flaccid dick tells you nothing about what it's like erect. Shaming someone for their dick hurts everyone.

Feeling blah, so I'm making more collages.

My guess is that a lot of trans people will be feeling a ton of stress and worry over SCOTUS today.

If you are a cis person, quote this and say why you support trans people and what you are willing to do to support us if the government comes for us.
