Above this post in my feed is a post about how to make friends at a drunken party. You bring two lasagnas, put them in the oven surreptitiously to warm for 30 minutes, then when ready you yell, "Lasagna's ready!" Everyone will love you. Lasagna guy deserves a billion dollars, not this scrotum.

Off the subject, but this level looks like a copy of the BUNK-r level of Borderlands 2.

I think someone saw this image in the thumbnail and thought those were snowflakes. Those are not snowflakes.

I want to choose e, but I've got to grind to level my verve up to urbane.

Yesterday, Monday, Oct 13, it told me that it was Wednesday, Oct 13. Thus the museum would be closed like it is every Wednesday. The current day of the week should have been the very easiest piece of info to get right, and it couldn't even do that.

Intersex is already a word. Why don't they just go with that?

This is a peak boomer comic. Strawmen vs a man in uniform just trying to live his life. When will these young people finally revere us?!

Oh, you're new to the goo, a 'goobie' as we call them around here

I was thinking about that when I saw that Daily Show anti-AI video about Meta's new bullshit. Did they make their own or find it in the wild?

I'm not kidding: I didn't cook chicken for most of 10 years because of stuff like this. And before that it was cooked day one or straight in the trash. Yes, I am now medicated for OCD.

Imagine not having to wash your spoon three times in the middle of cooking chicken. That is the dream.

Does Fort Collins even have a downtown?

I was having this same problem. You have to enable 'adult content' in your settings, as there is an image of a man behind a bent over man, implying anal sex.

Mozart worked continuously from age 7 to his death at age 35.

Spicy wings is like a solid chicken soup. It's got the fat and protein for flu-fighting energy, and the spices make you drink lots of water. I say it's nearly perfect.

One of my friends got one on Tuesday. He already knew what comic it was, the surprise was just that the one he got was holographic. I think it's just a randomization feature that ensures that someone isn't digging the rares out of the box ahead of time.

The alt text is pretty great too

Now that we've invented the orphan crushing machine, we might as well use it!

I have talked to at least two women on the street who had to choose between keeping their dog or going to a shelter for the night. Not even a shelter where they were guaranteed a second night, just one night. That is a horrible choice to have to make.

I tried to satirize Christopher Hitchens once by gender swapping his "Women Aren't Funny" essay, but it still wasn't very good.

And it's not even getting the aesthetics correct, because I don't think that a human would have smiled through that reading.

I'm setting it at night to increase the noir shadows and reduce the complexity of the coloring. And for spookiness.
