I recorded this today, in Portland, Oregon, at a huge march to the ICE facility in SW. The crowd was full of cyclists who had ridden there in memory of Alex Pretti; members of several labor unions; and ordinary citizens of every age, including this little girl. So of course ICE deployed tear gas.

Break up the grocery monopoly, and fine them every time they mislabel country of origin, misweigh meats etc and price gouge.

I hope you will be paying for this from the fines you will impose on Loblaw, Metro and Sobeys for price gouging and collusion. Also, please open up the Canadian market to European grocers so that Canadians can have more choices and a competitive market.

When we looked to move home, proximity was a consideration. Mostly visiting friends we'd made over the years, buying things we'd grown accustomed to. Now, I stand at the top of the hill, look to NY state and know the USA is lost. There is no going back. For them or us
