🧶 I’ve had some problems with adding pictures to posts, but I’m glad it’s working again. I’ve been on a big #KnittingForNiblings kick, and have finished a top, two jackets, and this pullover in the last month, and still so many plans. #Knitsky

The model is wearing a slightly tweedy forest green sweater, with drop shoulder construction and a round neckline. The sweater has a spruce-inspired slip-stitch cable panel running down the center front. Paint a Forest is knit in DK weight yarn, the sample uses Jalovilla's Räsy which contains Finnish wool and recycled wool producing the tweedy look.

All yarns are Red Heart worsted weight, all left over from my hat making earlier this year. Wanted to do something besides the usual granny square afghan to bust my stash, and this design by Michele Maks fit the bill for me. Image is of a crocheted blanket of various sizes and shapes of granny square stitched elements, jigsawed together into a 4 foot by 6 foot throw, in yellow, black, white, gray, cream, newsprint stripe, anthracite ombre, and cocoa ombre yarns.

A bunch of sweaters I knit for my grandkids and for my daughter's SIL's kids. I dislike intarsia but I will do it for children 😂. But when you use ladder back jacquard, there is less 🧶 to juggle because you carry the yarn across the back instead of joining a new ball. #showmeyourknits #knitsky
