does someone have kompromat on Jeffries? Just fucking stop talking, man.
Jeffries claims the charges against Cueller were "very thin" and says Trump's pardon was "exactly the right outcome"

Why would you accept the premise of Donald Trump's lie and then lie FOR him to further advance his political project? None of this is true, why are you talking?
Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

Helpful article re the importance of Hep B vaccine by
@tarahaelle.bsky.social but what stood out: (All CDC links in this article are either CDC-archived ones or from Internet Archive, dated prior to Jan. 20, 2025, to reduce the risk of non-evidence-based updates under the new administration.)
Why reporters should cover this week's CDC meeting on hepatitis B vaccine and more
The CDC will discuss its current policy of hepatitis B vaccination at birth and other recommendations from Dec. 4-5. Here's what to know.

I've already commented on this, but Jesus fucking christ. The more responses from disabled people I read on this thread, the more my burning hatred for "means-testing" liberals grows.

There is nothing to balance, it's a made up problem, disability fraud is 0 compared to the cost of denial.
Balancing "no person with a disability should be denied accommodations" with "it's important to discourage non-disabled people from pretending to be disabled to take advantage of these accommodations" is really difficult and I don't have a great answer for what anyone should do about it.

The idea that there's some sort of widespread abuse of processes for equitable accommodations and so we must do something about the equitable accommodations is just a right wing talking point that libs are now uncritically regurgitating. No different from worrying about Welfare Queens

The BLS continues to produce high quality employment estimates. I understand where this comes from, but part of how Trump undermines institutions is by generating mistrust of legitimate institutions.
The only reliable data we are going to get on this stuff now comes from the private sector. bsky.app/profile/atru...
🚨 CNBC on latest jobs numbers: "A big miss on ADP payrolls. The private payroll company saying private payrolls shed 32,000 workers in Nov. That's the 4th negative number in past 6 months. The estimate was for +40,000, so the street was off ... this may be coming from being hammered by the tariffs"

This is ridiculous. It was the first TRUMP admin which developed the cases against President Hernandez. His brother Tony Hernandez was indicted in 2018 and convicted in 2019, and key ally Geovanny Fuentes Ramirez was indicted in 2020.

Both were later sentenced to life in prison!
