I started my new project this week. It felt great to reuse all of the components I made in Sword Princess for this new project. In just a few hours I have a new character, with animations (some new/some old) and a bunch of other stuff like hp and stamina.

I finally got my combat system all worked out for my game. Animations are janky(see the snapping), but that is what I like to call a "future me problem"™️

But AI is in a working and mostly complete state, I'm excited to move on to some other things now.

Okay, had a few bugs, but no worries. A simple pursue script to move toward the player when an enemy sees you shouldn't be any problem! Yay Navmesh!

It took me almost twice the time I had set aside, but I finally got a working character model into the game! Yuna is animating so good.
Her hair clips, which I'll fix later with physics.
And her weapon is for some reason absolutely titanic in size, but eh, details.

I took my Excel TODO list and turned into Milestone goals in Codecks. Not sure if this is really the proper way use Milestones but whatev.

I took a break from blender these last couple weeks to write a tool that randomizes walls for me so I can quickly build up the town in the editor. Still kinda messy, but its a nice start.

So this week is a somber #ScreenshotSaturday for me. I spent January working on a new character model for Yuna. This week I moved her over to Unity, and her mesh just broke. The gems on her crown are crooked, her eyes are in her head. And her cloths clip bad. 😔💔

I know I'm late for #ScreenshotSaturday. But After I got this 'working' I passed out last night. So here it is today!
I got an attack combo system working. The animation rubber bands because of a Root Motion issue, but I'll "fix that later" tm.
