Bus speeds in London fell through the floor when Uber started, and they've never recovered.

A burglar once stole a clock from my grandparents, which my grandad then saw in a shop.
The burglar had bought a bottle of whiskey with the money, but had she opened the sideboard the clock was on, she could have taken a bottle directly.
Not sure what the moral is here. Be better at crime, maybe?

"Hello dear" is such an odd greeting to get from anyone other than ones grandmother, but someone (the computer?) has been telling people overseas that it's normal, professional thing to say.

What is wrong with my record player? The sound is intermittent at low volumes from either speaker. Turning the volume up solves it but wiggling the speaker wires doesn't do anything.
It's the same for records and through my phone so presumably it's the amplifier?
