1975. MY mom thought this was IT for style.

My father insisted on those chairs. They were wrought iron, weighed about 25 lob a piece, and were impossible to lift - you dragged them and scored the floor. The old man spray painted them with cheap paint, and it would come off on your clothes.

We should all dress as sardines.
Sean Duffy: "Dressing with respect -- whether it's a pair of jeans and a decent shirt, I would encourage people to maybe dress a little better which encourages us to maybe behave a little better. Let's try not to wear slippers and pajamas as we come to the airport."

Every Democrat in Congress should put out a video saying troops have an obligation to refuse unlawful orders. Make them prosecute all of you. This isn't a close call.

I'd add Republicans too if I thought any of them had the courage to actually cross Trump on this.
Hegseth is now threatening to recall Sen. Mark Kelly to active duty in order to court martial him.

"Honest, Mom: It's not my weed. I'm holding it fir a friend."
Mike Johnson expresses concern that requiring the Epstein files to come out "could ruin the reputations of completely innocent people, such as those who may just have known Epstein but knew nothing of his crimes or whose names he exploited and used to try to get close to his intended victims."

This is nauseating: “As the emails stretch through the years, they show how that protected realm vanished into the mists of time, pulled under by the rising forces of the internet and the #MeToo movement.” A “Gone With the Wind” framing for sexual abuse and harassment.
Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

50 years ago today - Nov 7, 1975 - was the first, last, and only table read for Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Shooting a show a day, we had no time for such luxuries.

We also took this famous picture. Norman had a copy behind his desk in his home office.

I'm now the same age Dody Goodman was here.

Nancy was 41 before she saw a Woman Supreme Court Justice. And may I remind you, she, along with every other single woman in the USA, has never lived in a country with an Equal Rights Amendment for women.

RT @tlduryea Nancy Pelosi was born in 1940. That means she was 32 when Roe passed. She’d already had 5 babies by then. She would have been 34 when the first Woman Governor was elected in her own right.

'Don't read too much into last night's ass whoopin'' says the impotent Speaker who told us not to get distracted by facts.
Mike Johnson: "What happened last night is blue states and blue cities voted blue. We all saw that coming. And no one should read too much into last night's election results."

"If we don't let them vote they can't beat us!"
Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

What?? Kavanaugh doesn't take No for an answer, won't respect other people's boundaries and is overly emotional??

If only thee was SOME way we could have known this!
Brett Kavanaugh's behavior during today's second oral arguments has been incredibly obnoxious and rude. He is so eager to kill a service member's lawsuit against a negligent government contractor that he keeps interrupting other justices, raising his voice, and getting emotional. Weird and erratic.
