WV Gov. Patrick Morrisey twice mentions in this interview that his state’s National Guard members in DC “volunteered” to be there. While I’m sure he mostly intends to shift blame away from himself for sending them in harm’s way, this also effectively blames THEM! 😡

Reith Lectures are very prestigious! Trump's threats got a true claim about his world-historical corruption, obviously a legit topic for inquiry, removed from the airwaves.

Same with the investigation into Mark Kelly. Threats are designed to silence *truth-teling.*

In case you missed this, the BBC edited a historian's speech about Trump to remove the claim that he's "the most openly corrupt president in US history." This came after Trump had threatened a $1 billion lawsuit.

Elite capitulation continues.

Trump Angrily Threatened to Sue BBC. Then Things Took a Darker Turn.
First, British Broadcasting Corporation execs resigned after Trump complained about a segment. Now the BBC edited out a line from a historian that was critical of Trump. Where does this end?

💯. It's not these patriotic citizens' fault they're being used as performative props by a corrupt, mendacious, and deranged president. They deserve our kindness and respect, and now, devastatingly, our deepest concern and sympathy. 😢

The scale of the militarized police state needed to do what Trump outlines — deporting up to 53M people (~18% of the U.S. population) & denaturalizing many more for deportation — is beyond the pale. They’ll chaotically/illegally tear apart families & communities.

We must put an end to this regime.

As Trump craters — Epstein files, spiking cost of living, people losing health care — we see the emperor has no clothes. He wants a Reichstag Fire.

It’s here: A murder by a refugee so he declares 53M non-citizens criminals & announces denaturalization, “reverse migration,” whites-only immigration.🧵
