Last year, dealing with my dad’s estate at the same time as my mom’s sudden cognitive decline, I 100% depended on mail. I’m reasonably computer savvy and accessing online govt services on behalf of a dead guy and a woman who could no longer remember her own name was impossible a lot of the time.
