Developing 50,000 Coffins (Coming Soon) in Godot. New England-based fighting game player [+R Kliff / MBTL Saber]

50,000 Coffins is an explorable diorama demonstrating the scale of mass death and it's coming soon.
Finally figured out what's (probably) wrong with my hand! Gotta get an EMG and then start a round of steroids, but once I'm recovered, 50,000 Coffins development will resume! Can't wait to finally get this out there!
Unfortunately 50,000 Coffins will not be coming out before the end of October.

Due to my hand pain I can barely write a sentence, let alone a few pages of poetry.

Gonna have to pause the hand-written updates for a bit too.

No written update tonight. My hand's been hurting a bit more again recently so I'm trying to take it easy. Especially since I still have a lot of writing to do to get this thing over the finish line.

A friend showed me Game Maker when I was like 11.

I would dabble for years before finally getting more dedicated in the past couple years
What got you into #gamedev?

Originally a filmmaker, I took my short film to a filmfest. There I attended a narrative design panel and my brain activated (thank you Schell games). Then 3 years ago I pulled my nonprofit connections and crowdfunded an educational VN that came out a year later.
What got you into #GameDev ?

I was working as a music assistant on a Netflix film and getting ready to go back to school for film scoring. The music supervisor turned out to be the co-founder of Interleave. We hit it off talking about games on slow shoot days and he offered me an internship.

I released COVEN the other day. So other than bug fixing I've taken a little break (kind of).

Been fixing up the custom game menu so folk can replay the levels they've finished with modifiers and the weapons/spells of their choice.

Oof, that's rough. Really hope Trunka recovers soon. He's put so much work into this deeply bizarre game.

Devilated feels like an FPS fever dream. Sickly and incoherent and held together with manic glee. I say that only in the most positive sense.
