Thanks!

I like it a lot too. I'm gonna keep experimenting with this for a bit to see if I can overcome feeling on the fence about it.

Is the information in the book primarily for 3d games?

Ah, that's more labor intensive than I expected. I assumed there was some trick to slicing meshes and making renders of each slice.

It might be a lot of work, but it's definitely doable for me, thanks, I really appreciate you taking the time to share this with me. 😁👍

I was wondering if you would be willing to share your process for slicing your renders into the various layers for y-sorting?

Damn, these are sick! Absolutely fantastic and inspiring. A+ work.

(sorry for the double post, I deleted the other one cause I asked if they were pre-rendered backgrounds before noticing the hashtags lol, oops)

This is my favorite as well, Rain World and Pikmin are my biggest inspiration for NPC creature behavior

It's a lot of fun to add in small nuances, making the creatures more than just something to hit with an attack.

Looks fantastic! I love the colours and your character designs.

I used a program called Wine. Ran it with the console command `wine ./BenjumpinHopkins.exe` from the directory I had the .exe and the .dll files in. I got some errors and linux asked me if I wanted to close the program or wait. I just waited, closed the errors, and it worked eventually lol

I got here, got all the flies up to this point, I think, and then fell down back to the beginning 😂
Lot's of fun, very addicting, especially when I figured out I can hold the jump button before I start moving. Almost feels like golf, but I am both the golfer and the golf ball lol.

lol okay, just lemme figure out how to run this on Linux, I know there's a way to run windows programs on Linux.

Ah okay, I know what the problem is, I'm on 1920 x 1080, and I think the initial setting just sets the viewport to that size. I'll try to figure out how to get the screen size of the monitor and change it based on that size when fullscreen. Thanks again!

There was a barrier of dead trees there, bringing the orb there opened the barrier so you can proceed
I'll make a note to have a visual and/or sound effect queue for future releases to get the player's attention that something changed

I'm so close to the project I don't notice this stuff 😅 thanks

For now, you might be able to just go into the Options menu click fullscreen and then click it again and it might resize the viewport to the proper size.

Keyboard input to open the pause menu is Tab to get to the Options menu.
