Covid isn’t over. And each infection damages the brain. Especially the parts that manage empathy and decision making.
Once you know that it’s easy to see what is happening and it’s terrifying.

newsGP - How COVID-19 leaves its mark on the brain
Mounting research shows the disease can lead to an array of problems, including significant drops in IQ scores, writes Dr Ziyad Al-Aly.

If @albomp.bsky.social wants to cut hospital costs MAYBE HE COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT EVERYONE GETTING COVID OVER AND OVER?

Every state apart from Tas is pulling their weight with hospital expenditure. The Feds not wanting to pay for the additional demand on hospitals that the FEDS CREATE from underfunding their primary health, NDIS and aged care system responsibilities is pathetic bullshit www.abc.net.au/news/2025-11...
'Beyond belief': PM tells states to spend less on hospitals
Health ministers are furious with a letter from the prime minister demanding they rein in spending if they want a public hospital funding deal honoured.

We lived with asbestos for decades - it was too hard and big to tackle - but now we take it seriously - which is good and as it should be.
But we already know, conclusively, that Covid is bad. Bad for kids, bad for everyone. Potentially fatal. Just like asbestos. But we do nothing.
It’s criminal.

The other thing that not masking proves is that most doctors do NOT stay up to date with their reading of new medical research.
Those who are up to date wear a mask. Those who aren’t and don’t - well do you want them looking after your future?

Doctors are not scientists and the fact that they are all not wearing N95s at work proves it.
The irony.

Designed and proven using entirely mechanistic method and observational data, with a healthy side order of biochemistry.

And fielded for decades with huge successes, without a single randomized trial as proof.

& today, groups of MDs work tirelessly to prove N95 don’t work vs viruses.

I live across the river from this monstrosity. When we queried noise levels and operating hours we were told that they were “self regulated”. Obviously that is working well.
And hidden in there is the fact that the state government has NO ENVIRONMENTAL BOND to cover rehab of the site.
CUNTS! 🤬🤬🤬

People are sicker now, society is sicker now, we are seeing a rise in premature deaths, cancers, neurological issues, and all other manner of illness is becoming so rampant that it seems like everyone is sick all the time. We know this to be true, we can see it with our own eyes.

Damned Whores and God’s Police changed my life when I read it in my first year of university in 1992. I’m sure it’s still being taught.
I still have that copy in my study and cited it recently. It’s still (sadly) relevant and important.
And this is a great article too.

Two hours and this person still has not replied.
I guess they might have a migraine still, which is shitty AF (I used to get them).
But still, I think getting long Covid “after every infection” is a situation that deserves a mask!

In news we need to face about Covid “This virus won't evolve to milder ever in relation to humans. And humans can't evolve to be immunocompetent against an immune-depleting virus. The virus is not compatible with human life.”

It will never be milder. We will never be immune.
In the evolving path of this virus, humans are just a meso-species, the species in between. This virus won't evolve to milder ever in relation to humans. And humans can't evolve to be immunocompetent against an immune-depleting virus. The virus is not compatible with human life.

We’ve got littering, dog shit in every park, we still burn our rubbish in backyards FFS. It’s hardly any wonder we salivate to cut down trees and pollute our water.
But we aren’t like “the mainland” and that’s the big thing. 🤬🤬🤬

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

For many people in positions of power, being a sexual predator and covering up for sexual predators are not only NOT disqualifying—they are forms of in-group bonding.

The Epstein network is the most prominent example of that dynamic, but the dynamic exists at multiple levels throughout our society.

DO NOT (& I cannot emphasise this enough) BUY TASMANIAN SALMON.
You are not supporting Tasmania by purchasing it. You are supporting the rape of our environment, the profits of a foreign company and outrageous animal cruelty.

This government is a pack of utter bastards. Isn’t Labor meant to be FOR the workers?
Young people pay tax. They pay GST even if they don’t earn enough to pay income tax.
How do they expect any worker to save enough for retirement?
#Labor is for employers.
Absolute fucking traitors.
🚨BREAKING🚨

Labor has just voted AGAINST granting super to workers under 18.

The Greens amendment would have seen all workers under 18 have the right to superannuation contributions, regardless of how many hours they worked.
