I stare at data and I wish I could stop. Staring at SERPs since 1996-ish. Old enough to remember how it began, too old to care how it ends.

Am I doing something right? Good start to the day.

I say let the Californian’s decide! It’s their land.

😁
More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

For this pic I timed the shot when the tip of one wind turbine was behind the tip of a closer turbine to the right.

@mscommunity.bsky.social Idiotic of Microsoft Ads to send threatening looking emails without saying what the issue is or how to work out what the problem is. The usual complete lack of understanding that they are interacting with human beings. No appreciation of UX whatsoever.

An absolute horrific nightmare of two AI bots caught in a loop with each other is the perfect example of the total nothingness of AI “brains”.

No reason to post this and nothing to do with a recent Gemini AI trend.

Absolutely awful and absolutely infuriatingly unsurprising.

AI garbage poisons the well and then other AI and LLM systems reinforce the garbage machines 👇👇👇
Let me tell you a story. Perhaps you can guess where this is going... though it does have a bit of a twist.

I was poking around Google Scholar for publications about the relationship between chatbots and wellness. Oh how useful: a systematic literature review! Let's dig into the findings. 🧵

In a sea of distraction it’s good to see how searchers gravitate to my well contrusted text Ads. 80% CTR is exceptional but around 10% is normal. Maybe searchers are tired of the distractions and text Ads are seen as more attractive because our B2B searchers want websites.

ChatGPT: You're in a very common situation for B2B websites — great performance, but low volume, which means Google knows nothing about you, even though Lighthouse shows perfection.

From my journal: Yesterday on Google Ads got 6 clicks for xxxx xxx CPC 1.70 and CTR 35% This phenomenal CTR is a result of matching the heading to the search term in an ocean of less relevant distractions which I guess searchers hate. #ppc
