I feel sick reading Labour’s asylum policy. They’re setting fire to their base and the scum they’re pandering to despise them regardless.

It’s simple. Process and let asylum seekers work and pay tax.

It’s indefensible despicable shit.

I’m fucking disgusted by them.

So either Labour need to ask candidates to step aside for the Greens to take on Reform....

Or actually bring in a fair democratic process where everyone's votes count equally.

It's time for Proportional Representation.

My Constitutional law lecturer years back taught that we didn't need a written Constitution as our unwritten one made up of acts, statutes and case law was more capable of being kept up to date. The last decade has shown me this isn't true. Johnson and Rees Mogg drove a coach and horses through it.

Every day, politicians and the right wing media whip up hatred and fear of migrants. None of them say this is wrong. None of them make the positive case for immigration. None of them tell the truth.
And then, today, someone did speak out, and the sodding BBC sodding apologised for them.
I give up.
FFS! In the midst of the dog-whistling howls, Thought For The Day today was a welcome relief. Calling out Jenrick for his brazen xenophobia and urging people to hold on to their empathy and not to let fear become cruelty.
It’s intolerable that the BBC apologised for that rare moment of decency.
