When wolves disappeared from Yellowstone, elk populations exploded and dined on young aspen sprouts, causing their decline in the ecosystem. For almost 100 years baby trees didn't get to establish and grow. When wolves were reintroduced in the 90s, the predator-prey balance allowed for baby trees.

Prednisone doing its work again. I'm not tired, and I'm hyper productive, motivated, and emotionally balanced. If only I could get this effect in some medication that you can keep taking, but alas prednisone isn't a medication one can take long term without consequences.

Another incident in Bell, CA today in which unidentified masked men with automatic weapons tore through an intersection in a private pickup truck, no lights, no sirens, no markings. Caused a traffic accident and then jumped out wielding machine guns.
New footage just dropped of ICE agents in Bell running through an intersection and driving erratically — in private vehicles (with no lights or sirens), causing a traffic accident after which they jumped out of their pickup truck with machine guns drawn. This is what set everything off in Bell.
