After the Nazi tattoo brouhaha a couple of months back, I announced that I was going to remove Maine from my U.S. Senate fundraising page *entirely* since a) I don't want to raise $ for Platner but b) I wasn't comfortable endorsing Mills just yet.

This bullshit poll has pushed me into doing so. 1/

Well that'll cover the first day in the hospital.
Hawley is pitching his colleagues — and Trump — on a new health care plan that would allow all tax payers to deduct up to $25K/person in medical expenses.

Hawley told us he recently discussed the idea with Trump: “I said...'no taxes on tips, no taxes on health care’, and he goes ‘oh I like that."

The Missouri Republican is proposing making it easier for more tax payers to deduct medical expenses — and has pitched Donald Trump on the idea.

If new proposals detailed in an FDA memo are put into place, experts told me it would mean the end of annual flu shots. And end of most vaccines for pregnant people. And maybe the end of updates to pneumonia vaccines. And more.

BREAKING: All House Democrats have signed our discharge petition to extend the ACA tax credits.

That makes 214.

We can protect health care and lower costs — if only 4 Republicans will join us.

You missed the entire point because you don’t want to call the thing a thing.

Biden was the most progressive POTUS since LBJ. Harris was going to follow his lead.

From walking picket lines to increasing wages, to opportunities for homes and education…the majority of y’all rejected that in 2024.
Miss Aja, I’ve been voting for the democratic nominee since the early 90s, including Hilary and Kamala, and here we are. Point is, just voting democrat is not the answer. Voting for democrats with economic policies for the majority of Americans is the way forward.

Republicans wanting to talk about fixing health care premium increases a month into open enrollment, when prices are all but locked in, is about as serious as being concerned about RFK Jr.'s anti-vax crusade AFTER voting to make him the nation's top public health official.

There was a 13 point swing last night in TN-07.

If we see a 13 point swing in South Carolina in Nov 2026 Lindsey Graham will be retired and I will be the first ever pediatrician Senator.

Trump and Republicans promised to lower costs on day one—and as we can see, that was a lie. Prices shot up, and health care will spike again because they refuse to extend the ACA credits.

Now they claim “affordability” is a con job. Since when is feeding your family or seeing a doctor a scam?

This is one of those things that I think is quietly important – when these people are talking shit about cities, Portland or Minneapolis or New York or Charlotte or wherever, you have to loudly say, “no, fuck you, you’re lying, that town and its people whip ass and you’re the asshole”

All 214 House Democrats support legislation to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

We only need 4 House Republicans to join us.

And we can save healthcare for tens of millions of Americans.

Why haven’t Republicans done a damn thing to make your life more affordable?

The extremists are focused on all the wrong things, like trying to start a war in Venezuela.

These people have been a complete disaster.

TN07 is a story about gerrymandering: the GOP cracked Nashville into 3 districts when it redrew the 2022 map, destroying the Dem seat there.

Fast-forward: a section of Nashville, which just 5 years ago had a Dem representative, is now voting Dem by huge margins but it's been designed to not matter.

Democrats are winning in the Tennessee special election, no matter what the outcome.

Even if Afton doesn't win, the totals will show a large erosion of the Republican numbers in the 2024 election.

People are getting fed up with Republican hate.
