Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Folks, we need to have a little Civics #101 chat, because apparently the media no longer seems fit to explain to you whats happening.

So quick review:

The House passed a clean CR.

The senate has not passed anything.

I think it may be time we give up any hope of primarying/improving the Dems and abandon them for a third party that actually has values

We need more Mamdanis and less Schumers
There is a wave of change coming.

One where bold leadership that follows working people not the billionaires isn’t the exception, it’s the expectation.

Let's discuss.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

i obviously support the “primary them all” school of thought but, for the record, it’s going to require a more than that to *get* to the next primary for these people—who i assume took a hit for 2026 cycle dems anyways.

primary them, yes, but these people really shouldn’t be able to eat in public.

Hey @durbin.senate.gov I tried calling your office, but could not get through. Absolutely do not cave to Trump and his cronies. If you blink now, absolutely everything that you and your colleagues fought for will be for nothing. People will die.

If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

$195/500

Anything helps y’all.
Alright so I haven’t gotten paid for two months and haven’t lined up anymore work.

Really need more help, and I hate to ask for it.

I was supposed to be making $1200 a month by now but due to trump defunding my job I’m making nothing.

Goal is $500.

$0/500

61-79: This is a vehicle whose sole purpose is hauling heavy shit and it's...fine at doing it.
80-97: Slightly less bed space for a much more refined and comfortable design
97-03: Pushing it, but still *mostly* functional
04-15: Not even pretending anymore
15-21: "I hate Greta Thunberg Specifically"
The bumper says 'rugged working man'.

But the cargo bed says ‘cosplay builder with soft hands’.

Time to ban these fragile-man-mobiles from our cities.

From stealing Rosalind Franklin's lab notes to his frequent sexist & racist bioessentialist comments later in life, he showed how the scientific community would still worship a terrible person

Exactly. Because starving people is the goal. The cruelty is the point.
NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

Now that I have Frankenstein on the brain I'd like to point out an extremely small and easily missed detail in Del Toro's adaptation: at one point, Victor reprimands the creature, and the creature recoils in *almost exactly this pose.* The Wounded Philoctetes.
