same train, missed the angel of the north again (was doing the crossword instead this time) but did get to stare longingly at lindisfarne as the sun is setting so we will call it a win
have had the opportunity to see the angel of the north from my train twice in 48 hours and missed it both times because i was engrossed in solving a sudoku

watching the best show ever made again (mad men) and obviously being nostalgic for a past you didn't experience is for fascists and morons HOWEVER i do think smoking a cig in a wood panelled commuter train would feel fucking great

to my mind the woman who dies of sepsis because of antiabortion laws, or the person who dies because they can't afford insulin -- these are just as much victims of political violence as the man shot through the throat while making a racist speech
