The Island of Strangers man said that?!
I’d chip in: what happens when you launch a years-long media campaign to convince the public that the anti-austerity/anti-racist movement is dangerously hateful and unacceptable, hand in hand with extremely right wing crackpots, actual fascists and genocide enthusiasts? Does society get less racist.

Again see how this turns into “generally bad for everyone” and then a reference to the 99%
Isms and phobias and others and theys are generally bad for everyone.
Yet some think they may escape the badness because they think they are in the majority when, in fact, the conservative fascist movement is destined to divide and to divide and to divide until there's 1% rule and 99% divided.

Their political philosophy hinges on a vision of white supremacy in which people who aren’t white are here at the privilege of white people, which they can revoke at any time, which they expect to be received with gratitude.

The white racism should be enough though…shouldn’t it?
Also, folks should not be fooled into thinking this is only about white racism. There will be loyalty tests, religious tests, etc that will segment and divide the whites into the minority rulers and the masses ruled.

Was watching the original “Scarface” and this was driven home really well by the cinematography, especially in Little Boy’s death scene
The "Elon is Joyless" discussion really highlights something I've been noticing- the rapacious insatiable American dream doesn't really appeal to people who are happy and grounded. It's sort of an aspiration of the unbalanced.
