Unfortunately, fossil fuels aren't really an answer to any of these challenges. Any new pipeline is - objectively - a decade away from tidewater and markets are fading fast. You want home grown resilience? Build renewables, invest in the grid, especially in sunny, windy Alberta.

I hope you are right about net zero - I have grandchildren and the path we are on isn’t sustainable.

I don’t believe more oil equates to a more competitive economy- that is achieved through productivity, innovation, and capital.

Lets invest in the future - not the past.
