Leider beobachte ich, dass das einige Bürger:innen durchaus ähnlich sehen. Fühlen sich unwohl und bedroht, bloß weil Leute anders aussehen und irgendwo rumhängen. Traurige Entwicklung
Migration und das Stadtbild... bemerkenswerte Aussage von #Merz: "Bei der Migration sind wir sehr weit [...] Aber wir haben natürlich immer im Stadtbild noch dieses Problem und deswegen ist der Bundesinnenminister ja auch dabei jetzt in sehr großem Umfang auch Rückführungen zu ermöglichen" 1/x

Holy, what's happening at #EGPA and #IIAS right now?
Apparently, none from the Steering group will try to run for the EGPA presidency, none will pursue another term, there is no host uni for EGPA 2026 and the same group is establishing a new association "European Network for Public Administration"

Unfortunately, on its 30th birthday, the jubilee doesn't look very healthy. Ten member states (🇩🇪🇧🇬🇸🇮🇮🇹🇦🇹🇳🇱🇳🇴🇩🇰🇫🇷🇸🇪) currently have "temporary border controls" in place, some of them since 2015.
And Friedrich Merz now wants to make them permanent.

In #philsci there is a whole debate about the existence of 'exploratory expermentation'. It is not typically framed as about polsci, but about science in general: many experiments are not done to test a hypothesis, but to explore new phenomena, etc. e.g. philsci-archive.pitt.edu/3981/1/Water...
