What people in general respond to is narrative and Democrats have been awful at controlling the narrative. Some more than others. They tend to concede Republican framing and then work within that and man you've already started off by shooting yourself in the foot.

I'm trying to figure this exact take out but a lot of American politics could be improved if people just started talking and thinking about what they want instead of appealing to a theoretical third party voters. Take the Baileys in your mind out to the wood shed.

I think Democrats should double down on trans rights now. It's obvious that most voters don't care about it so you might as well stick with your principles and goad Republicans into focusing on it at the expense of everything else so they're the ones who look like freaks.

My wife did some back of the napkin math and for the amount we we've spent on building out AI shit we could've had rail public transit for every city over 500k.

I couldn't really finish reading this but it pretty much encapsulates everything that is wrong with the country.
We grow too much corn and too many cows, that's my sincere opinion. We shouldn't have multiple states dedicated to corn. I love corn as food but we do not eat all that corn. And I like beef but we do not need so many goddamn cows.
