Have got shin splints and a fucked knee, three weeks from the Bristol Half. Going for a bike ride tomorrow instead of the 12 mile long run, got some new cushioned running shoes ordered, going to be a very delicate game to play now. FFS.

Can confirm referencing the Jonny Briggs Theme Tune has exactly the same result. Not a single one of them went "'ere our Rita," and they simply shrugged and went back to talking about Skibidi Toilet and how to hack e-bikes.
It's a great boost to your morale when talking to the brewers about PPE you reference PJ & Duncan paintballing then they stare at you blankly until one of them says he thinks he remembers his mum talking about that.
