Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.

The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
Breaking news: The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation alleging that they are impeding federal law enforcement officers’ abilities to do their jobs in the state.

Any DoJ attorney who participates in this investigation should suffer professional and social shunning that makes it effectively impossible to continue to work as an attorney.

Good to know Chuck Schumer's meeting with Trump yesterday really worked in curbing the Republicans and their brutal crackdown on Democrats and innocent Americans in Minnesota.

Must have been a helluva convincing meeting.

Well done, Chuck!

Oh, look, the DOJ is now investigating Walz and Frey.

Renee Good had a pulse when EMS arrived. I’m not sure it would have made a difference if ICE had let that civilian physician render aid before EMS arrived, but now we will never know. www.nytimes.com/live/2026/01...

One of the reasons it is really important to push back hard on the investigations against people telling the military not to follow illegal orders is because when he invokes the Insurrection Act he is presumably going to be ordering the military to do illegal things and we want people to speak out.

I’m fighting to enforce the law and make the sure the full files are released.

It doesn’t matter if the people voted for it (they didn’t vote for this), the President has no authority to order widespread illegal activity.

You could be next.
