The bad news is, a couple blunders on my part elsewhere in the empire led to the British invasion being delayed, but it was at least still started, and a beachhead established at London.

The trenching work began in earnest yesterday (aka the loud heavy machinery). Despite the crew arriving later today than yesterday, great progress was made yesterday. The job should be done by tomorrow. 👍
