I remember celebrating the 200th in 1976 by attending a Rolling Stones concert in Memphis with about everyone being positive about the future of the U.S. Now I see nothing but negatives, and am concerned about the future of my grandchildren in a totalitarian state.
While cleaning up debris the other day I discovered the remains of where they drilled for oil on the property in the late 1940s. Now that I've had a bunch of timber cut in the last year or so I wonder what else I'll discover.

I'm back! Bluesky changed their policy preventing users from my state accessing their site without a VPN. However, my state "leaders" are still addle-brained to think that censorship is the best policy.

Since I’m in Mississippi it’s looking like my time on BlueSky is coming to a close. That’s unfortunate. Lots of stuff I could say about the current Miss. state government, but I’ll just leave it there.

So Trump’s big plan is to send in the National Guard to “crack down on violent crime” in D.C.? Funny, I don’t remember him deploying them when actual violent criminals were smashing windows and beating police officers on January 6…oh right, those were his supporters.
