System updates are just another opportunity for Microsoft to employ its dark patterns. And with Windows 10 End of Life fast approaching — both users and policymakers should be on the lookout.
Once again, an update to the latest version of Windows 11 changes your default browser to Edge. @microsoft.com was never held to their sentencing in the 1998 antitrust case. That needs to be rectified.

When a user searches “Chrome” on Bing, Microsoft deploys a scoreboard, or a chart, that compares Edge to Chrome, unfairly positioning Edge as the clear winner.
