TOP TIP: If you feel that you might be too romantically needy, either set up or upgrade Microsoft Windows for a free reminder that however bad you are, you’ve got absolutely nothing on how much they want you to either accept Edge as your default browser or fail to notice that it now is.

System updates are just another opportunity for Microsoft to employ its dark patterns. And with Windows 10 End of Life fast approaching — both users and policymakers should be on the lookout.
Once again, an update to the latest version of Windows 11 changes your default browser to Edge. @microsoft.com was never held to their sentencing in the 1998 antitrust case. That needs to be rectified.
