Not every idea is worth airing. Not every point of view is worth hearing. Not everything that "a lot of people believe" should be credentialed by homepage space. Would the NYT editorial board run "Did Homosexuals Ruin Culture?" or "Did Black People Get Too Big for Their Britches?" I guess we'll see.

Lots of reasons to boycott Spotify, but running ice ads is especially sinister. Screw them!
Reports of ICE ads on #Spotify were noted in early October. People began calling for boycotts immediately.

Now, nearly a month later Spotify is seeing major losses.

And we can do ever BETTER. 👏👏👏

Hi Lisa Nandy! I’m a BAFTA winner from a small town. Instead of asinine questions like this, why not tell us how we can continue to make a living in the eviscerated creative sector over which you notionally preside?

One of my favourite first watches of this year. Newton is terrific, playing a cuckold who embarks on an elaborate, extended scheme to murder his usurper. Better than De Palma’s Obsession (1976), and arguably superior to Visconti’s (1943) too…
Whose mind could know the secret?

In about three years the entire university pivot to AI curricula and schools and programs is going to be so deeply embarrassing. We will all pretend it never happened and I will be standing there, looking at people with a mirror in my eyes. This is all so embarrassing.

we're surrounded by media all the time.
How many hours do you spend looking at a screen each day?
Why? What is it that draws you in and keeps you there?
Don't you think it might be important for someone to research that stuff?

This stuff is so tiresome. In a world where hard skills like coding are getting replaced faster than they can be taught, it’s the soft skills that arts degrees teach you that remain valuable.
