The world will remember how the EU and its member states respond to this catastrophic tragedy. Silence and neutrality in the face of genocide constitutes complicity. Inaction emboldens perpetrators and betrays every principle the Union and its states claim to uphold

Gaza is being starved by Israel. Aid is available but the Israelis are refusing to allow access to those who need it. Time is running out fast.

If you’re based in Ireland, please email your TD now to demand the government takes action to ensure the aid gets in.

Gaza needs food - not words
I just emailed my local TDs demanding the government does all it can to let food into Gaza. Will you do the same?

€22bn allocated for transport in the NDP of which €2bn we know is for MetroLink. There's zero reference to where the other €20bn will go.
This sums up the level of detail in the government's new National Development Plan. No mention of DART+, Luas extensions, Cork Commuter Rail or any kind of public transport projects beyond what was already committed for MetroLink.

Gaza is now officially in IPC Phase 5, the final stage of hunger. Designated as 'catastrophe'.

A further 67 of the starving were killed by IDF soldiers yesterday trying to access food. Witnesses say the victims had their hands held in the air.

One day, everyone will have always been against this.

We are receiving desperate messages of starvation from #Gaza, including from our colleagues.

Food prices have increased 40 fold.

UNRWA has enough food for the entire population for over three months, stockpiled just outside Gaza.

Lift the siege and let aid in safely and at scale.
