@steveahlquist.bsky.social is the only journalist in RI (and most anywhere) who gives you his source material as well as his opinions. If govenments and other orgs were as transparent as Mr. Ahlquist, that might be the only way to put him onto another line of work.
In 1938, as fascism rose in Europe (and the U.S.) two Jewish kids invented Superman, and superheroes as a genre, in answer to economic woes, corporate power, organized crime, and inadequacy of the institutions meant to protect the working class.
