That is hella scary. Probably always will regret that I got my body out so readily to get damaged. Moved to Australia as a 14-year-old & was topless for several years. Once I had kids, I totally covered us all up. Have had several lil carcinomas off already.

Being on the water is always somehow worse as well, that reflected light comes from everywhere. We get fooled by the gentle breezes.

They are pretty scary buggers, even though they don’t do any harm. And their web is almost like fine wire.

I’m really concerned about these sunscreens now. why don’t they work? And I’m layering up with tinted moisturiser and foundation, all with sunscreen in them. And a hat and long sleeves. 😒
A young mum said the other day, “I’m not afraid of the sun” and I wanted to slap her. I was actually shocked.
