I’d argue they could’ve boosted US box office chances by 2-3X if they‘d not used a microscopic text size for the subtitles. Surefire way of scaring off US audiences: presence of subtitles in a trailer. Surefire way of scaring ‘em off even harder: use tiny, hard-to-read subtitles.

Well, when a state extracts 750,000,000 barrels of oil and gas in just one year, they’re able to spread around to good causes some of the billions in cash that’s pouring in.

Few if any nations have executive, legislative, judicial institutions as captured by a mix of hegemonic global industrial powers like oil/gas and control-and-power-at-any-cost oligarchs as those in the US. So, if achieving that power requires installing a seditious mobster as President, so be it 🤷♂️
