Guy from NoVa living in the Mitten. Every week is infrastructure for me, but more likely to post about sports.
It's Kopps, Jackman could have been in the serving custard side of the counter and others just in the burgers/food line. That and the Greenfield location is a little more convenient to the airport than Brookfield or Glendale.
Fans brave cold Milwaukee weather, forming a line hundreds deep at Kopps Custard for a glimpse of Hugh Jackman's guest appearance.

Unrelated to the McDonald's Grinch promotion is this offering from Meijer, although the price label obscured the good work of the decorator on the icing. The Grink version was not available at this location, however.

Took the kids to Lambert's Restaurant in Sikeston on a road trip once, they enjoyed the novelty of the thrown rolls and the knickknacks around the entrance.

Im not wild about knowing that the YouTube algorithm has my account nailed down so precisely, but finishing "SEC Shorts" and then pulling up the Matt Mitchell video has been as predictable of a Monday night routine as an 80s network TV schedule.

Shutout would have been the cherry on top of the sundae, but take the W and on to Charlotte against pending results from the West Coast

"Hot knife through Blacksburg butter"...UVa radio guy laying it on thick trying to make a catchphrase happen, but 24-0 deep in the 3rd just might be enough tonight.

The UVa radio crew wondering if the Hokies should bring in the backup QB (also the QB who was last year's starter in a Commonwealth Cup win)...not sure if that's bad mojo or Drones is having that much of a struggle

I could tell I was listening to the Spartan radio broadcast when I heard about one of the players being from "Hen-Rico, Virginia", he didn't have anyone tip him about "Hen-RYE-co".

Feels like there's a lot of reading between the lines on this, but civil engineering is neither inherently "American values" nor "anti-American values", other than our units of measurement. Civic responsibility still counts in our favor, I suppose.

Pittsburgh has a new airport terminal. To me, it's the most important travel story of 2025. Not because the old one was too big and inconvenient, but bc it was a reminder of one of the worst corporate backstabbings in U.S. history.

Found the Harvard football radio feed while running errands, and the play by play guy is very New England sounding. Not quite Car Talk guys level, but close.

Maryland ties it when Andre Mills collects an offensive rebound off Darius Adams' missed free throw and gets it to Isaiah Watts, who cans a 3.

Mount, utterly unruffled, gets an open Xavier Lipscomb corner 3 to swish. Mount 74-71, 55.5 seconds left.

Mount uses its penultimate timeout.
