I have long hated, laughed at, even collected pics of unnecessary quotation marks... in signs, store names, holiday cards, everywhere they appear. These are the most atrocious ever. I cannot. Idiocy. Or rather "idiocy."
In a move destined to infuriate copy editors (among other accomplishments), Warner Bros. is insisting that critics use quotations marks when citing the title of Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights.” This is not a joke.
