For my last book, 'The Magic of an Irish Rainforest', I visited pieces of this potentially exquisite habitat across the island of Ireland, and invariably saw the same thing: slow death by overgrazing + invasive plants.

My 1944 wartime civilian radio has had a crudely shaped and painted expanded metal speaker grille added at some stage.
The fabric remnants on the speaker board indicate it should match the museum specimen cloth.
I will have to search for a cloth. That metal can't stay.

I say this every election cycle, 3 seats is too small for a constituency and deeply unfair to smaller parties.
We should be pushing for minimum 5 seats, but preferably higher. Maybe 8ish. #ge24
