I don't think this is a controversial statement:
-The founders were deeply flawed.
- Oligarchs are buying the biggest media companies and white washing everything possible.
-Autocrats are undermining legal protections for ppl who aren't white men, including journos who don't parrot the party line.

Our founders, though deeply flawed, understood that democracy requires an informed citizenry and a government accountable to it people. That’s why the press is the only profession protected by the Constitution. It’s also why autocrats and oligarchs seek to control and destroy it.
