This is a good time to say no one should be treated differently for height, skin tone, or anything else. As a tall, curvy Black woman, I dress hyper-feminine mostly because it’s my style, but also because society already tries to masculinize me. If I “dressed down,” I’d be treated as less soft, less woman, less seen. So I claim my femininity before they try to take it. And trust, they’ve tried!

I always say single logic is very helpful in early dating to rule out the rejects, but can be very unhelpful in healthy, long-term relationships. But it's hard to see that because a lot of couples that single people see are toxic, and so they double down on that logic.
