A new bill will head to Congress to prevent women from being turned away or sent home from a hospital while in active labour. This is after a video circulated of a Black woman who was dismissed from a hospital, only to give birth in her truck minutes later on the side of the road.
A woman gave birth 8 minutes after a hospital turned her away. A bill aims to stop that from happening again.
The legislation seeks to stop Black women from suffering during and after childbirth and hold hospitals accountable, according to bill language obtained exclusively by NBC News.

I would actually let him come. Then I along and anybody else with sense would let him know that the only way he’s leaving your house is either in handcuffs or an ambulance. Mostly likely handcuffed to the bed as they take him away in the ambulance.

First mistake was her doing all the legwork on the trip. Not saying he had to make the whole two hour drive but they should have agreed to meet in the middle. And it was definitely a scheme set up by Todd for him to take her somewhere that took reservations but he didn’t make any.
Watched a TikTok last night where this woman drove almost two hours to meet a man for a date and the restaurant wait was over 40 minutes so they had to find something else to do because he never made reservations. IKYFL anywhere over 30 minutes is crazy… matter of fact send me a car. #strict101
