The continuous pandering to Trump is embarrassing. We Europeans hold most of the cards now, not him. We pay to keep Ukrainian troops supplied, while Trump cut all aid. Yet we still pretend as if he was the authority on this matter.

The only security guarantee that Ukraine can ever truly rely on is the development of its own independent nuclear deterrent.
⚡️ Zelenskyy says there is progress on US security guarantees for Ukraine modeled on NATO’s Article 5.

He says the guarantees look solid but remain a first draft, with monitoring a key part of any ceasefire framework that still needs to be finalized.

The so called "peace" negotiation is one big scam to delay help to Ukraine, give Russia time to build up its forces, get sanctions lifted etc. Still many seem to take them seriously. That is very hard for me to absorb.

It could not be more clear that Russia poses an immediate threat to our democracy.

The govt must take this threat seriously, cracking down on dirty money in politics in the upcoming Elections Bill & conducting criminal investigations into Russian interference in our elections.

Glad somebody understands the gravity of the situation.
Everyone in UK 'must step up' to deter Russian threat of wider war, armed forces chief to warn
The chief of the defence staff, Sir Richard Knighton, will say Russia's war in Ukraine shows that Vladimir Putin's willingness to target his neighbours "threatens the whole of NATO, including the UK".

‼️St. Petersburg has growing unrest:

🔹Public singing of protest songs
🔹After mobile outages, street art appeared protesting internet censorship and restrictions
🔹Emergency order to report all flammable liquid/gas sales

BTW, the 1917 revolution started in St. Petersburg.👀

This excuse for invasion is not new.

In 1939, both Hitler and Stalin justified invading Poland by claiming it was “threatened” and that ethnic Germans and Russians needed protection
In 2022, Putin used the same logic — blaming NATO and the West while claiming to defend Russian speakers in Ukraine👇

One only needs to find out a person's stance on Ukraine to find out what sort of person they are. If they blame Ukraine and give russia a pass they are a fascist and probably a pedophile too.
If you find this at all surprising, you really haven't been paying attention.

Starmer and other European leaders are daily humiliated by Trump. Their response? Thanking him and praising his leadership! Maybe it’s the only way to deal with the man child but if they don’t learn a lesson from this then they deserve to be humiliated.

Share if you agree.

Name and shame the IOC board for allowing Russians and Belarusians back into the Olympics with their flags of genocide and national anthem of murder and rape.

The move begins with the military trained and state doping sponsored youth squad.

Still rewarding russia with land and sanctions relief.

Still going to be rejected by russia.

No consequences for russia rejecting the plan.

The US is a joke, and so is Europe.
The US, Ukraine, and European partners are discussing a new 20-point peace plan, - WP

▪️A demilitarized zone would be created along the entire ceasefire line.

▪️Behind demilitarized zone, there would be a deeper buffer zone where heavy weapons would be banned.

‼️ One option is "Korean-style"

One big issue with the whole "peace" process charade is that countries sitting on the fence, the cowards and corrupt, is using the process to turn away from their responsibilities towards Europe in general and Ukraine in particular. The pettiness is sad to witness.

One thing I don't understand is how it's possible that so many media and supposedly smart analysts take the "peace" process with Russia seriously. A toddler could look at Russia's behavior and draw the conclusion Russia doesn't want peace, but maybe just a break to recover.

Donald Trump is a Kremlin stooge who wants to sell out Ukraine and the rest of Europe to Putin. We can't let that happen.

Starmer should seize frozen Russian assets in this country - today - and convince Merz and Macron to do the same.

The National Security Strategy should impact No10 view that the UKG can have the best of both worlds (demonstrated by UK-US trade deal & EU reset). Starmer should lean in now on closer EU links. But he won't. He'll be more cautious that doing so might cause friction with Trump

Europe still hesitates. Still debates. Still looks for “options” while Ukrainian cities are turned into ash.
